Blackberry Tea Ladies Investment Society

Occasionally, you come across an idea so fun and invigorating you can't help but share it.

There's a group of old ladies in our community who dress in red and white and wear bright lipstick. Their hair is dyed blue from the whitener they put in it every week at the Beauty Salon. They get together every Tuesday for Blackberry tea, with cream and lemon and crumpets with those delicious little butterscotch morsels in them, to chatter away about investments. They each bring their little red matching coin purses and pull them out at the appropriate time, to gather their change and invest in their selection.

Last week it was Texaco Oil, they purchased one stock each from a broker downtown. They get a good return on their investments, and they hardly ever sell.

I wonder if all the little old ladies the world over could get together on Tuesday for Blackberry tea, what kinds of problems would they solve?
